Configure how users receive alerts about change activity.

Overview

Notification Configuration controls how users receive alerts about changes that require their attention.

Notifications ensure that governance workflows progress efficiently.

Administrators can configure:

• notification channels
• alert rules
• delivery preferences

Notification Channels

Solvren supports several notification channels.

Email Notifications

Email alerts notify users when:

• approvals are requested
• evidence is missing
• reviewers leave comments
• changes become overdue

Email notifications ensure that important events are not missed.

Slack Notifications

Slack notifications deliver alerts directly to team communication channels.

Common Slack alerts include:

• approval requests
• completed approvals
• change submissions

Slack integration helps teams coordinate quickly.

In-App Notifications

In-app alerts appear within the Solvren interface.

These alerts provide immediate visibility when users log in.

Configuring Notifications

Administrators can configure notification settings by:

  1. Navigating to Admin → Notifications
  2. Selecting the notification channel
  3. Configuring delivery preferences

These settings apply to all users within the organization.

Organizations typically configure notifications to ensure that:

• reviewers receive approval alerts immediately
• operational teams receive deployment alerts
• overdue approvals trigger reminders

Proper notification settings help maintain efficient governance workflows.
